Save Pio Pico State Historic Park - UPDATE

On Friday, May 13, 2011, the state announced the
closure of 70 California State Parks.

Tragically, Pio Pico State Historic Park is on that list and is scheduled to close on July 1, 2012!

The Friends of Pio Pico, and the local communities, are currently working on plans to save the park.

We must act now!

November 19, 2011 (Saturday) - 10:00 am - 2:00 pm - Volunteer Training Pio Pico State Historic Park needs you! Come join our volunteer program and assist in our efforts to save the park! No experience is necessary. The park needs many types of volunteers. The training will be held at park (6003 Pioneer Blvd. Whittier, CA).

Advanced Reservations are Required. Lunch will be served.
